Most tenants don't extend lease. Poor conditions, and poor management.
Pros
- good heat - nice neighborhood - plumbers are nice folks - friendly neighbors
Cons
- discovered excrement in the toilet on move in. Place was once cleaned but since was dirty again - super is angry, forgetful, with poor communication. - could't sleep in bedroom, ceiling made from paper, noise and vibrations wake you up from above - Apt came with huge wholes where heating elements came from boiler room, wholes were not covered, so mice came too. - Bathroom ceiling leaked 4 times. First time it happened super kept forgetting to send a plumber. - Incredibly hard to deal with super and property manager.
Advice to the owners
Sell the building, let someone else do it, Add ceiling noise reduction to the bedroom.
