WORST Super. Awful leasing company. Pests.

Pros:
Location was nice. Rooms were big. Unlimited hot water. We had really great neighbors.
Cons:
We had roaches from the moment we moved in. Our door never worked, and even when we asked to get it fixed, they just did a temporary fix. In the summer our apartment was swarming with roaches, and in the winter we had mice. One morning we woke up to 3 mice on one trap. The leasing company and super always blamed it on us, but we were very clean and even had traps set up everywhere. The super came into the apartment unannounced 2 times. One time he changed the keys without telling us. Another time he took photos of our apartment when we were not there and we were not aware and tried to use them to tell us we were messy and that’s why we had mice and roaches... it was laundry I took out of the drier from that morning on the floor in a basket. The leasing company called me to tell me about how messy I was. They never fixed the issue, and moving out was a disaster. They don’t allow dogs or cats, and are very hostile towards tenants with ESA dogs.
Advice to owner:
Get a new super who is a decent guy. Fix the apartments mice and roach issue. Make sure the garbage man does not come to get the trash at midnight. Also tell the super not to vacuum the halls at midnight.
