Pros
The perfect sweetest street!!! So peaceful and beautiful. Easy access to the 79 and 31 + Carl shurz. Almost never hear neighbors and weirdly can’t hear my roommate (and vice versa) even though we share a wall. Great light in both bedrooms! Huge dishwasher! I love that the kitchen is separate from the living area. Small so def need to be friends with your roommate but nice layout for day to day living and occasional hosting.
Cons
No laundry although the building is clearly working on flipping units as people move out and they all seem to include laundry (but they raise the prices like crazy!!) We have the tiniest bathroom sink but I actually find it charming. Bit of a walk to the trains but I don’t mind in exchange for the peace
Good first nyc apartment
Pros
The unit was freshly painted and cleaned before moving in, no pest control needed after one full year of living in apartment
Cons
Maintenance often rushed work or did incomplete jobs, packages get stolen sometimes
