Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 126 East 103 Street highlight the great location near transit and amenities. However, issues with heating, pest control, and unresponsive management are consistent concerns. Tenants have experienced delays in repairs, inconsistent pest control, and noisy heating pipes affecting sleep quality. Although some appreciate the unit features, the general sentiment leans towards dissatisfaction with the current management's responsiveness and maintenance quality. Renters suggest improvements in pest control consistency, faster repair responses, and better communication with the super to enhance living conditions. Overall, the building's potential is overshadowed by management issues.

Avoid this Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartment units inside are relatively nice, we enjoyed our unit. Water pressure is fine.
Cons:
The management of this building is terrible. We had no heat and hot water for many weeks during our 1 year lease. In our lease, we were entitled to pest control once a month and they came once. The landlord is not responsive and I have never spoken to him, only emailed. Mice and pests are very common. Building is filthy.
Advice to owner:
New management just took over...hopefully they are better!

Extremely poor management
Former Tenant
Pros:
GREAT location, new appliances in kitchen and bathroom, big windows in living room
Cons:
Horrible, noisy, leaking heating pipes - couldn’t sleep for four months and the super was not at all responsive. Took three weeks for him to fix it and he didn’t fix the noise. Management company unreachable. Pest control inconsistent.
Advice to owner:
Hire a better super and be contactable. Provide pest control.
