    Cheap and cheap

    Pros:
    Super is nice, apartment is spacious, taqueira across the street is great.
    Cons:
    The building is old. The roof above our sink collapsed and caused serious water damage to the cabinetry (though no mold). We had a serious pest problem (German roaches). Building itself is not well constructed; floors are uneven, tiling is cracking, door handles falling off. Tenants leave garbage in the hallways even though there is a place to leave it. Stairways are filthy, usually at least one dead roach on the steps.

    Building is clean (no rats or roaches)
    Quiet
    Cons:
    Heat went out and was not working for a few days during the really cold month of January. All they fit was give us space heaters.
