    Perfectly acceptable living

    Pros:
    Locations is great! Laundry in building Porter is very friendly/keeps the building clean
    Cons:
    There are mice Dryers are expensive
    Advice to owner:
    Make the dryers cheaper and not cash only (they’re brand new)

    Super and Porter are both nice and don’t mind helping with things that are out of their job description
    Cons:
    Owner and upper management are horrible! Owner is a very nasty woman and management never seems to be available to take calls or return them.

    Pros:
    The porter, Michael, is the best porter I have encountered in NYC. He works so hard and is so friendly and kind. The size of the apartments are very good for NYC standards and rent is reasonable.
    Cons:
    The landlord is atrocious. They have no email address and rarely are available by phone. The front gate was broken for a month so not only could any one off the street access the building, the buzzer was stuck and there was a constant buzzing noise that could be heard for a month. No matter how many messages we left nothing was done. A few other small issues came up that are inevitable - broken hot water, lighting issues, etc but the management company was THE WORST to work with. They were unavailable, unhelpful and very nasty. Susan and Chaim are so miserable to deal with.
    Advice to owner:
    Stop treating your tenants like trash. Give Michael a raise.

    Landlords are monsters.

    Pros:
    The tenants are sweet.
    Cons:
    Landlord is threatening and the leases are shady. I lived there for many years. They fought me every time my lease was up. I moved into a rent stabilized apt which I didn’t know. Only found our years later and it was too late to fight it. The apartments are falling apart. Landlord cursed and threatened me over the phone multiple times. DO NOT LIVE HERE. TRUST ME.
    Advice to owner:
    Treat your tenants better and have respect for people. Your units are overpriced. And go to therapy. You have anger issues.

    Terrible building, unresponsive managers

    Pros:
    Great location. Love the area, being close to Central Park, and all my neighbors.
    Cons:
    Roach and rat/mouse infestation is crazy. Management doesn’t do anything to fix it. For the first 2 months we lived here they put some ineffective traps down each month, then they stopped. Found 2 mice in 1 day, 3 in total in our apartment. They paint the walls and cabinets for new tenants but don’t bother to fix all the cracks, nooks and crannies so roaches get everywhere. Multiple species of roaches. People also steal packages from the package room, apparently (never had ours stolen, but there were always signs up.) Do not live here.
    Advice to owner:
    Fix the nooks and crannies and pest-proof your building, please.

    Nightmare building + landlord

    Pros:
    It's cheap I guess? The super is somewhat responsive, and Michael the porter is really great.
    Cons:
    Super rundown building. Nothing gets repaired. Walls are half-painted. Packages get stolen. People smoke in the building. Mice and roaches abound. Property manager never picks up the phone or calls back.

    Really helpful porter, renovations are nice, laundry in building
    Cons:
    Elevator was under repair more than average, neighbors had LOUD parties throughout the summer to all hours of the night
