Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews of 535 West 111 Street highlight its convenient location near Columbia University and public transportation as a strong advantage. Tenants note responsive management, especially linked to Columbia Housing, and generally good water pressure and heating. However, concerns include inconsistent cleanliness, issues with pests like cockroaches, occasional elevator malfunctions, and noise levels. Some units appear outdated and in need of renovation, particularly kitchens and bathrooms. While some find the building somewhat pricey, affordability is a challenge for student residents. Balancing these factors, the building suits those prioritizing location and responsiveness but may require improved upkeep and pest control.
