Quiet apartment, great location
Pros
Very quiet apartment, considerate neighbors, great location
Cons
Dead roaches in basement although glad the pest spray is working. The landlord does not know anything about the building (building is owned by a church and the landlord is a church “father”)and repairs and is old and traditional and only takes physical checks or cashiers orders for rent. The apartments on the upper level have a draft when it’s windy and your door will rattle so you need to get a door wedge to keep the door still. Additionally, the insulation isn’t great, so it’s very cold in the winter and hot in the summer. The first year we lived here the water heater was quiet but the last year it got a pressure problem and we sounded like we had a built in gurgling waterfall in our studio unit that lasted months along with screeching pipes when the temperature is adjusted. Thankfully our window ac unit helps to keep it cool.
Advice to the owners
Make rent payment more modern; respond faster to heating and plumbing issues
Update: New Landlord

Cons
The archdiocese of Bulgaria has become the new landlord and they've hiked up rent 30% since 2020 even though they're a non profit that gets tax benefits.
