Living nightmare, avoid if possible
Former Tenant
Pros:
The neighborhood is lovely and our neighbors were very kind people.
Cons:
We lived there for over 2 years and had consistent roach, mice, and mold issues. New City Management is the absolute worst and consistently ignored us until withholding rent our entire time living there. NIGHTMARE APARTMENT waking up to roaches of all sizes, mold in the kitchen and bathroom, and mice scratching inside the walls at night (we caught two!).
Advice to owner:
Adequate responses to complaints and sending immediate pest control.

Great street and neighbors
Former Tenant
Pros:
The neighbors, the other windows
Cons:
Took a very long time to get security deposit back had to call/ email then multiple times over months. And then they deducted $300 for me leaving a carton of egg in the clean fridge. We cleaned that place better than it looked when we moved in.
Advice to owner:
Pay security deposits back on time and be nice to the people in the building who help you

Pests and leaky, moldy ceiling
Former Tenant
Pros:
Proximity to the subway, other than that there were no perks.
Cons:
- Rodent issue - Pest issue - Leaky ceiling after it rained - Mold that was never taken care of, just painted over - Rude, unresponsive, gaslighting management

Kinda expensive but nice
Former Tenant
Pros:
The place was pretty nice and the trash was outside so no problem with rats or roaches
Cons:
I didn't have any sunlight, my 2 bedroom apt was $2150, and I paid $1050 and could only fit a full-size bed and a dresser in the closet. Also, super only speaks Spanish and texts in Spanish, but it's Dominican slang, so I had to screenshot texts to my friend to translate. Also, the exterminator barely helped when we did have problems with pests, and we had to call our own exterminator, and they said they wouldn't reimburse us even though theirs did nothing.
Advice to owner:
IDK all landlords suck

Almost Nice, Actually a Nightmare
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great light! Nice neighborhood! Pretty building!
Cons:
Roach, mouse, bedbug infestations; leaky ceiling that eventually led to holes in the ceiling. Management did not address the issues, and were either entirely unresponsive, or combative.
