Pros:
The people in the building are great and look out for each other
Cons:
The landlord is the most cold-hearted, nonempathetic, manipulative person I have ever met. They try to pretend they are friendly but could not care less about the people in the building and harass people who stand up to them. He also makes the super fix things he is not qualified to fix because they are too cheap to hire companies or contractors. They paint over mold, let people live in mold, mouse, and roach infested apartments, they have multiple lead paint violations, and don't comply with the law in terms of rent and rent stabilization.
