I had a negative experience living here and would not do it again

Pros:
- There is an elevator and laundry room - Rent-stabilized apartments - Neighbors don't bother or steal packages
Cons:
- The apartment was infested when I moved in. It was full of bugs including cockroaches, spiders, and centipedes. I fought this for months and despite the exterminator coming by multiple times, I'm still fighting the issue a year later. It's been horrible. - People sell drugs right outside the building - There is loud noise on some nights and I've had to call 311 multiple times. Some nights, the loud music starts at like 1am and I have to wake up early the next day. - The laundry room is not well kept (I should've checked it before I signed the lease) The neighbor told me that there are rats in the basement, which doesnt surprise me. - Overall, the management company needs to be more involved and on top of the issues described and the lack of cleanliness. - I recommend you go elsewhere if you care about living in a building that prioritizes cleanliness. - My quality of life is questionable here - Lots of weird characters in the neighborhood - If I could re-do things, I would not choose to live here again
Advice to owner:
Truly fix the pest issue and fix the laundry room, don't just put a bandaid/cheap quick fix on it. Laundry room is gross and often floods when it rains.
