Violated the law and moved us in without fire escape

Large bedrooms (rare) in an authentic NYC neighborhood

Pros:
- bedrooms are a good size - 10ish min walk from AC1 - literally right off the highway, so a car ride is very convenient
Cons:
- parking in the entirety of the heights is insane. Not one point in the year can you find a spot. - the lobby of the building and the stairwell can get very very very smelly due to some hygiene / living quality issues of the older residents - people use the stoop to smoke and block the stairs. This makes it hard for older residents to walk, especially since there is no real handrail.
Advice to owner:
Install a handrail on the stairs. I’ve seen a few older folks slip or lose balance. Salt isn’t enough in the winter. Get the city to do wellness checks on older residents
