Great building and nice apartments but A&E building management ignores you.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great building, nice spacious apartments with character and high ceilings. Corridors and lobby kept clean. Super is kind and cares about the tenants. Laundry in building. Very close to the A train and J Hood Wright Park.
Cons:
A&E building management responds 1/20 times you contact them and acts as if it is the first time. Heat this winter has not been on during some very cold periods and then way too hot, even on mild days. Some pest issues and some noise issues i.e. loud music. Package theft issues, like most buildings without a doorman.
Advice to owner:
Respond to tenants..isn't this your job? Get tenants with pest issues to treat them and enforce noise rules per the lease.

Nice residents, good super
Former Tenant
Pros:
This building is area from the 175th A station. The residents are friendly and the super and his helper are good.
Cons:
The elevator was not working for many months; same with the gas for cooking.
Advice to owner:
Please pay attention to the needs of the renters.
