Best value - very happy here
Former Tenant
Pros:
Large apartment - quiet - apartment has character with sunken living room and archways - close to subway - nice neighborhood - can’t touch this space for the price anywhere else in Manhattan.
Cons:
I wish it had a rooftop outdoor space and in unit laundry.
Advice to owner:
Keep it up!

Dirty and Old Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Elevator and Laundry on site.
Cons:
Everything is dirty! From floor 1 through 7, you can see the roaches at the walls and floors. The roaches at lobby come out to greet you everyday. Roaches at the laundry room and elevator too. Roaches everywhere! Laundry room has old machines that Management doesn't clean. They do work, but not properly! The detergent and fabric sockets from the washers are always full of water, and the dryers needs half a cloth load to fully dry. The Super is disrespectful, and don't have a sense of working under schedule at all. Besides, he works vaguely well for the problems your unit would present. Water filtration problems within the building. Some neighbors had problems with mice and rats on their unit as well.
Advice to owner:
Clean the building, hire an extermination company and do the whole building! You keep posting extermination sheets for the units, but the hallways, stairs and lobby are the most infected places.

Don't live here
Former Tenant
Pros:
-Price is fine -Supers are actually pretty good -Lots of space -You can get rent credits if you experience problems and are persistent
Cons:
-Property manager / management is not responsive, when they do respond, the problem isn't always fixed -Took 6 months to get rid of my mouse problem in 2020 (I once had 7 mice running around in my kitchen...on two separate occasions) -Washer / dryers broken for at least a year (2021)
Advice to owner:
Stay on top of maintenance
