Friendly doorman, good facilities
Former Tenant
Pros:
Doorman was very helpful and friendly Rooms were very spacious with big windows Bathroom was clean
Cons:
Kitchen was really small, with the stove squeezed into a corner

Great place as a student, probably expensive for what it was
Former Tenant
Pros:
Staff and security was top tier, safe neighbourhood, spacious rooms
Cons:
Amenities were a bit dated like the kitchen and bathroom. Also i didn't have a light in my room for some reason so I needed to bring lamps to light up the whole room

Best Experience
Former Tenant
Pros:
I loved living with all of my friends from school. The doormans (most) are super nice and they will help you out with anything.
Cons:
It is an old building and it needs some remodeling. Our apartment wasn’t renewed when we lived there.
Advice to owner:
Change the carpets.

Excellent! Thanks NYU!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, helpful staff, overall well maintained
Cons:
Laundry room can be congested

Good quality basic student housing
Former Tenant
Pros:
Maintenance requests handled very promptly, surprisingly low noise levels given it’s student housing
Cons:
If you’re on the Manhattan side of the building it gets very hot causing the AC to leak from the ceiling resulting in moldy carpets. Terrible smells from neighbour’s apartments. Bathtub drainage is very poor and clogs up on a biweekly basis causing the water to rise to ankle height when showering

Expensive but decent dorm
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to school
Cons:
An educational institution charging international students the same rate as market rate when tuition is already so high, gives the impression that NYU is more a commercial landlord than a school

Not worth it
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very close to NYU, comes furnished and has flexible lease terms (9 months instrad of full year)
Cons:
Management acts like they are doing you a favor for allowing you to live there. Apts are poorly maintained, air conditioning is not good (if over 85 degress outside, the apt won’t cool below 75F). Extremely expensive. Luxury building price for an outdated apt.
Advice to owner:
Listen to your residents! And for the love of god, update the apartments. It’s not the 1980s anymore.
