Are finishes breaking often in this building? Any examples?

Yes, they break all the time, I even moved in with finishes broken, and they refuse to fix them. Also, beware of your Con Edison Bill, $100 plus a month, I had to tape up my windows, the wind just comes right in. FYI, they keep your deposit no matter what.

They use pretty cheap materials for kitchen cabinets and such. A few of my cabinet handles broker off
