I use a space heater when the boiler wasn’t working. They have fixed the boiler pretty quickly. However, on cold days, it’s not hot enough because the windows are old and leak cold air in.

Location, decent kitchen appliances
Extremely loud radiator noise, bad management (doesn’t respond to any complaints like no hot water), laundry not in building, kids smoking pot in the entry way every day, rats in the back yard , building not secure, overpriced rent, poorly done renovations
