Great Nolita building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Super low key building, truly have almost never had an issue and whenever we did it was handled swiftly and efficiently. Great building in an incredible location. Noise transfer is super minimal, we hardly EVER hear our neighbors unless someone has their windows open. Back building is extremely quiet and completely removed from street noise, almost doesn't even feel like we're in NYC sometimes.
Cons:
I'm pressed to even think of a con other than we don't get a ton of sunlight in the back building but that's ok, the location is worth it.

Slow and unresponsive landlords
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building itself is nice, and the location is great. Large apartments with a very nice layout.
Cons:
Landlords are very slow to fix things. Windows are very old and not insulated. In building laundry is often broken. In general landlords are abrasive and unresponsive to major issues (like heat, hot water, broken stoves etc.)
Advice to owner:
Hire a real super who will fix the infrastructure problems of the building
