Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant reviews for 310 East 12 Street highlight a building with mixed feedback. Positive aspects include a live-in super, well-maintained common areas, and a charming courtyard. However, concerns arise due to the new owner's uncertain plans, potential evictions, and upcoming major construction projects. Tenants appreciate the responsive super and management but mention occasional noise disturbances and high prices. Recommendations include addressing noisy external factors and offering lower rents. Overall, the building's future stability and communication with tenants are crucial for a better living experience.

So many problems
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location and size of unit
Cons:
If there was a problem that you could have in an apartment, we had it. - Cockroaches - Mold - Mice - Heat not working - Noisy, disruptive construction - Property management blatantly ignored issues until pressured. Several weeks went by without the mold being addressed. First they tried to paint over it and say it was fixed. Then they removed the mold and left our apartment unfinished and a construction zone for almost 2 months
Advice to owner:
Fix the issues in your building and respond to tenants in a timely manner

Instability since new owner
Former Tenant
Pros:
Thoughtful and friendly super who maintains the common areas well. Great location. Spacious apartments.
Cons:
The new owners aren’t renewing the lease of some tenants, which makes it difficult to create a home here.
