Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Reviews for 330 1 Avenue, Manhattan emphasize a well-managed, clean, and safe environment with a strong community feel and responsive management. Tenants appreciate the quiet buildings, spacious apartments, and effective pest control. The building benefits from good water pressure and heating, though heat control can be inconsistent. Some note noise issues from 1st Avenue and occasional disruptive neighbors, with limited enforcement on noise complaints. Garbage management is generally good, although some report smell near garbage shafts. Laundry facilities in the basement are inconvenient and sometimes problematic. Rent is seen as high by some, raising value concerns. Overall, it remains a desirable, well-maintained residence with community appeal.

Safe area and nice building. Felt like a community.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building was well maintained and management was responsive. Safe area.
Cons:
A little far from the subway, a lot of older neighbors who would get upset at noise. Laundry is not a good experience at all, it’s located in the basement so it’s very hot and some neighbors are very inconsiderate (will steal the machine from you).
