It’s NYCHA, what do you expect?
Former Tenant
Pros:
3 bedroom apartment facing East river, view is nice, apartment is spacious, affordable housing - can’t complain about price point - won’t be able to find comparable price in NYC. Tenant’s association members are kind, there is good community outreach for local events and food distribution
Cons:
Hot/cold water often shut off due to pipe leaks, elevators constantly out of service, waited 3 years and counting for repairs - has gotten worse since COVID, constant smell of marijuana from neighbors and lobby - not enforced, roaches and mice problem
