Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 186 Norfolk Street highlight its prime location and generally friendly neighbors as major advantages. Residents appreciate some conveniences like on-site laundry and good natural light. However, significant concerns persist regarding persistent pest infestations (notably roaches and bed bugs), outdated facilities, and poor maintenance responsiveness. Heating is often inadequate during winter, and water pressure is inconsistent. Complaints include unpleasant odors in common areas, security issues like package theft, and noise from shared appliances. Rent hikes and building upkeep have also been criticized. Overall, while location and community are positives, management's handling of maintenance and pest control detracts from the living experience.

Pros:
The building is in an ideal area, and the people who live here are nice. Those are the only pros.
Cons:
The whole building is infested with roaches. The management does not do anything about it, and the monthly pest control they provide is definitely insufficient. You will find roaches everywhere and wish you never moved in. The building always smells musty (roach scent) and like cigarettes, since people will smoke inside. The stairwell gets so hot it’s unbearable. The washer/dryer is the loudest thing ever and it shakes the entire building, which prompts the roaches to come out. I keep my room very cold and i don’t dare walk out of my room after it gets dark, no matter what.
Advice to owner:
Hire a professional pest control company to clean out the entire building and bomb it all. Seal every entrance. Stop letting people smoke cigarettes in the building and leaving the trash outside their door when convenient - it attracts them. Be more responsive and aware of your tenants complaints.
