The Landlord Janet refuses to fix or replace anything. The ac/heat does not work well, washer/dryers, we replaced the refrigerator on our dime because it was junk. She is money hungry and will pinch you for every penny. If you ask her to fix anything she will send her lawyer children after you who will say things like “then sue us, you won’t win”. They are not real landlords, all they have is this single apartment they overpaid for and it is a total inconvenience to the. They are not kind or gracious to their tenants who pay high rent and maintain the apartment. One of the daughters lived there before we moved in and it was an absolute dump. We had to hire a professional cleaner to scrape years of cooking grease off the walls and cabinets when we moved in. They have had issues with vermin and roaches for years and we found traps the day we moved in. Don’t be fooled by the nice apartment and locations, dealing with this landlord is truly not worth the hassle. There are plenty of better options out here and nobody should be treated so poorly after spending there hard earned money to live in a “luxury apartment”. Window stares out directly at a brick wall and there’s no natural light. My fiancé and I have lived in several luxury apartments in manhattan and elsewhere and have never been treated so poorly. I also own 8 apartment units with tenants and understand what landlords deal with. I would never treat my tenants the way they treated us.. you are totally disposable
