Review Summary for Cooper Gramercy
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews of 401 2 Avenue highlight the building's strengths in spacious apartments, great views, and a friendly, attentive doorman and maintenance staff who are praised for their helpfulness. The location is convenient with nearby transit and amenities. However, renters frequently point out severe issues with management responsiveness, often describing them as unresponsive or difficult to reach. Persistent pest problems, heating inconsistencies, and occasional water issues are notable concerns. Noise levels can be high due to construction and the busy surrounding area. Despite management shortcomings, many tenants still recommend the building for its space, staff, and location, though caution about communication challenges is advised.

Overall okay but needs help
Former Tenant
Pros:
The on site staff is wonderful, the apartments are older but great sizes and views
Cons:
The management company absolutely sucks. They also advertise outdoor space and the realtor will take you out there so they can make rent look worth it, but they never update it and don’t allow people out there because of a nasty neighbor on floor 5 who is known to take pictures of young women when he is angry, yell at them, and has even thrown water at a group of elderly women gathering. Management has done nothing about him.
