Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Tenant reviews for 400 West 37 Street emphasize responsive and friendly management, with attentive doormen and a clean, well-maintained building featuring spacious, modern apartments and strong heating/cooling systems. The building offers convenient amenities like laundry facilities and is centrally located near transit hubs such as Penn Station and the Port Authority, facilitating easy commutes. However, many renters note significant noise issues due to proximity to the Lincoln Tunnel and busy 9th Avenue, including traffic and sirens, which affect overall tranquility. While neighbors are generally amicable, occasional loudness is reported. Some express concerns over construction quality and pest control responsiveness. Despite the noise, the building is largely recommended for its location and management quality.
