The inside is nice if renovated

Our apartment was fully renovated when moving in. But it’s not all apartment!
Cons
There’s so many.. this year was okay but didn’t have heater for the first 3 years living here. Runs out of hot water way too often. The entrance doesn’t have a lock - no security. Packages gets stolen if you’re not home. Neighbors loiter on stairs smoking weeds. Landlord tries to trick you with rents!! One time I didnt receive a lease renewal on time and when they finally did, they illegally tried to raise our rent (stating that our lease was automatically renewed with xx amount. Which was above the percentage they can raise) Also this apartment is rent stabilized. I learned after moving in that my rent was higher than it should be. I got the rent history report from DHCR.
Horrible building to live it

Nothing this building is horrible.
Cons
They do not give heat in the winter. They do not clean the hallways. The front door is broken so anyone can come into the building. The landlord does not answer your calls and the super does not fix problems in the apartments.
Advice to the owners
New management and new super. Do better! Give heat! And clean the building, it is disgusting to walk into the hallway and it smell like pure shit! Do better!
