Slum lord do better
Former Tenant
Pros:
I have nothing nice to say.
Cons:
1.The drug addicts/squatters pooping in the building hallway
2.the loud music playing in front of the building in the summer from 10 pm until 5 AM
3. repairs do not get done properly and/or efficiently
4.constant leaks in the apartments
5. cracks in the walls and ceiling all over the apartment
6. the air quality in the apartment is hazardous
7.the floor wood is rotten and uneven,
8. the windows are not set on the windows seal properly- in the winter there is terrible draft
9. No electrical outlet(s) in the bathroom
10. Similarly, only 1 electrical outlet in the living room, kitchen, and bedroom(s) ( thank goodness there hasn't been an electrical fire)
11. Charges "capital improvements" on the rent but nothing gets upgraded in the building
12. Leaky faucets, tubs, and terrible plumbing
13. Infested with roaches and mice
Advice to owner:
The high prices of the rent doesn't match the quality the apartments in this building. Please do better as a landlord, because you are partially responsible for the living quarters and how this impacts the lives of your tenets. You would not allow yourself or your family members to live in such conditions. Please hold the same standards for your tenants and their wellbeing. You should be ashamed of yourself.
