Pros:
The building is close to Fordham road and Fordham university. Also close to Arthur Avenue so there are lots of little places to go to.
Cons:
The front door is always broken and when it gets fixed the super says it’s too much work to fix it. Garbage overflows into building it’s so bad that you can’t even walk to the garbage. Apartments in this building are VERY small but they are trying to charge the same price as bigger apartments. We have been dealing with leaks, a broken stove and refurbished items that they give to us. Landlord and super never respond when you need them, the building now has people doing drugs upstairs and getting drunk outside of the building but the super does nothing because they are mostly his family members in the building. Also the heat is always on blasting to a point where even in hot days they leave it on, because the apartments are so small it makes the whole house a sweat fest.
Advice to owner:
Be an actual landlord and stop overcharging for a building with no amenities. Fix the doors, clean up garbage and charge appropriately for the space given.
