Nice people, horrible building

Pros:
- The people are nice, tight community and they care about each other
Cons:
- Horrible management, completely unresponsive and lies to their elderly tenants about things like raising the rent
- Filled with every pest you can imagine (roaches, bedbugs, rats, spiders, ROACHES, centipedes). I woke up with a centipede crawling on my neck once
- Elderly neighbor had her ceiling cave in and was being harassed by someone in the building, management refused to help
- Frequent lack of heat/hot water
- Elevators always broken, people frequently got trapped, may as well have been a walkup
- Stairwells unclean and unsafe (one had blood on the doors, usually urine in the landings)
- Front door usually unlocked/broken
Advice to owner:
Start caring about the people who live in your building and supporting your super.

Horrible, horrendous.

Pros:
Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
Cons:
- The super is inaccessible and rude. His family is loud and make my stay here hell.
- The management company is incompetent.
- Mold, spider infestation, toilet leaks, sink leaks, no bars on the windows, windows can be opened from the OUTSIDE, loud music constantly, no heat.
I could go on but you get the gist!

Close your business.
