    Irresponsible owner in scammy building
    Former Tenant
    Pros:
    relatively quiet and safe for the neighborhood; decent access to the 4 train station
    Cons:
    very run-down walk-up; owner moved belongings and made repairs and renovations while tenants still on lease but away for vacation in order to turn over the unit for rental with no gap time for profit and forfeited deposit for having left her existing furnitures in the unit. Just a scam to get the most money out of tenants. Never took action to any complaints such as no heating etc. just suggested buying more portable heater (already purchased one.) Landlord also missing in action for several months when contacted about the security deposit.
