Terrible Building - Beware

Pros:
Washer/Dryer in building
Cons:
Apartment repairs take months or are never done. Super is unresponsive and building is horrendously maintained. The stairwell is filthy and never cleaned. The hallways are mopped every once every two months if lucky. Dead roaches litter the lobby for weeks. The boiler regularly fails in the winter so there are plenty of cold nights with no heat or hot water.
Advice to owner:
Please take some pride in your building. Tenants should not have to live in filth while you continue to hike the rent.

Pros:
Laundry in building - by the garbage area though! Ewww
Cons:
Water bugs, mice, and sewage smell!!! All throughout the building! Always smells like garbage or something rotten in the staircase. Neighbors constantly complains of noise when you walk. Weak wooden floors, noise above it’s a domino affect

Change the whole pipe system

Pros:
Near train. Quiet neighborhood.
Cons:
Building overall is disgusting. Been a resident for 9 years and it should be demolished. Roaches and flies are the real residents as they have taken over. Last super didn’t do his job at all. Garbage area is unkept. Fixtures never get repaired. Building smells like sewage. Compactor is full of roaches. Laundry room is disgusting.
Advice to owner:
With the amount of rent we as residents pay we should have a clean building. Repair the sewage smell. Hire a super who will maintain the building and keep the areas clean. I’m ashamed of living in this atrocious building.
