Pros:
The neighborhood itself is nice for the area of the Bronx. It’s pretty quiet at certain times so if there’s any type of noise the neighbors chatter
Cons:
I didn’t like that the landlord slanders your name and uses derogatory words when getting their point across and then spreading it to the neighbors. She tries to micromanage and then plays victim after “little old lady card” but she knows exactly what she’s saying. Even if you try to have a civil conversation she picks at the next issue. Whether it smoking on a PUBLIC side walk or riding a like scooter it’s always an issue. Now I know nobody is perfect but don’t rent out your space if you’re not actually ready or comfortable with the idea of that.
Advice to owner:
Be kinder, don’t involve others into your personal matters especially those who are nothing but kind to you. Make sure you make it clear in your statements before renting what your terms and conditions are. HOWEVER, that doesn’t mean micromanage.
