Pros:
Cheap rent stabilized apartments
Cons:
The apartment management is horrible, they do not care about renters at all. There are always cockroaches and water bugs in the lobby. The loud neighbors argue and blast music day and night. The backyard has a ton of stray cats because they never clean back there. You will sometimes find homeless people doing drugs in the hallways. Good luck trying to get management to fix anything. They make excuses and give you the run around. The cheap rent is not worth the headache.
Advice to owner:
Clean your building and evict problematic tenants.
