Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 335 State Street highlight the building's excellent location and friendly neighbors as major positives. Tenants appreciate the updated apartments, elevator access, and adequate water pressure. However, management consistently receives criticism for poor responsiveness, inadequate handling of maintenance requests, and insufficient building security. Pest issues, particularly cockroaches, have become a notable concern, with tenants frustrated by inconvenient extermination scheduling. Garbage management and cleanliness ratings are middling, contributing to tenant dissatisfaction. Heating is reported as inconsistent, especially during daytime winter hours. While some recommend the building for its location and community, many caution about management shortcomings and pest problems.

Terrible Building Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, but the block has been seeing tons of issues related to dog owners not picking up after their dogs.
Cons:
Building management is awful at responding to issues of safety & security (package thefts, window guards, etc.). The first floor apartment I was in had cockroach issues & was in very poor condition, definitely not worth the exorbitant rent they're charging. During the winter, the building heat also only turns on at random times and not during the day.
Advice to owner:
Be more responsive to tenants & invest more in building safety and security.
