Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews of 375 State Street highlight modern, renovated apartments with desirable in-unit amenities and attractive, quiet surroundings. Tenants consistently praise the friendly neighbors, well-managed garbage disposal, and responsive ownership in many cases. However, issues persist with faulty steam pipes causing noise and overheating in some units, which management has been slow to address. Some residents note the absence of central cooling in certain rooms. While many enjoy the building’s location and cleanliness, concerns about management’s handling of building infrastructure and rent increases have been voiced. Overall, it appeals to renters valuing modern amenities and a peaceful community but with some maintenance caveats.

Faulty Steam Pipes
Former Tenant
Pros:
I loved the area and amenities (W/D in unit and dishwasher). The neighbors were also lovely and never caused any issues.
Cons:
The steam pipes running throughout the building were incredibly loud and would leak constantly. The one located in my bedroom heated my room to an uninhabitable temperature while also spewing water. My constant pleas to management to fix the leak at the very least resulted in little to no improvements. As the pipes ran through the building there were also multiple bursts within the one year I resided there, one of which resulted in a virtual waterfall in the entrance to the building. This was never once acknowledged by management. Despite these issues, management still felt it appropriate to raise our rent significantly.
