Paper thin walls

Pros:
Beautiful finishes throughout each unit Quiet neighborhood Rooftop Laundry Storage in basement
Cons:
Walls were so thin I could hear my neighbor sneeze Neighbors were slamming doors late at night or watching tv at loud volume Landlord doesn’t care about noise complaints
Advice to owner:
Improve the sound-proofing of each unit. You can hear literally everything your neighbor is doing.

Mold Infested Apartment, Unresponsive Management

Pros:
The neighborhood is amazing and the building is situated at the perfect location to enjoy the best of Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, and Boerum Hill.
Cons:
Building management is extremely slow to solve problems in units. We had an ongoing mold issue caused by their slowness in making repairs post storms & AC unit problems. They gaslit us and claimed it was not mold - there was visible mold on our entire ceiling and professionals validated that. They let us live in mold for 2+ months and we’re pretty certain there is still mold in the ceiling after they “fixed it.” Impossible to work with.
Advice to owner:
Have compassion for your tenants. Our experience has been unacceptable here. You have caused health issues for us do to your lack of action on a serious matter. We’d love to stick around if it wasn’t for this - you’d have less turnaround if so.
