Location is half decent and close to public transportation
Cons:
Assume the owning management company is lying to you. I would urge to stay away, but if you ended up here, know your rights, be suspicious, and make sure you order a copy of the rent history for your apartment from the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal. There's a good chance the apartment your in is rent stabilized and the management company is hiding it.
The ownership of this property are truly the worst kind, so know your rights, know the law. don't be naive, and don't take what anyone from the management company tells you at face value. Good luck.

Property management has been horrible
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartment is a good size and I like the separation of bedrooms.
Cons:
The property management has been slow to fix everything. I’ve lived here for almost 3 years and the buzzer has never worked. I’ve had 3 separate issues with water leaking from the walls and through the roof. Most recently the snow melt caused a leak that went through the 2 apartments above mine and into my child’s room. It’s ruined his bed among other things. They have repaired the roof but have yet to contact me to assess the damage in my apartment.
The week before the heat went out twice. My apartment dipped into the 50s inside. The windows are quite old and thin so cold air gets in easily.
My shower has been leaking buckets of water too and they have yet to respond.
Advice to owner:
Better response time on maintenance issues!
