Beautiful Apartment; Beware of Landlord who Lives Downstairs
Pros
Really beautiful space, lots of sunlight, on a quiet block.
Cons
The landlord who lived downstairs harassed us daily. She would push furniture around in the middle of the night which would be so loud it could wake us up. She would bang on the door to the building and scream until her husband let her in, often at 3-4am. She would yell up at us from the lower apartment. Once she's decided she doesn't like you, she will make your life hell.
Advice to the owners
Manage the situation with the downstairs neighbor.
