Building falling apart but fair and honest landlord
Pros
The landlord is genuine and a decent guy. He always responded to our calls and texts about issues with the building. He didn’t raise our rent unnecessarily and he always treated us with respect.
Cons
The building is generally not in good shape. The roof and windows leaked continuously. There were bug problems, the walls between buildings were thin so we could hear music and talking from the building next door. Sometimes the heat didn’t turn on until way late.
Advice to the owners
Just fix up the known issues and update the building if possible and it will be a great place to live.
