"Apartment Manager" System Horrendous

Pros:
- Beautiful wooden floors
- Good location close to transportation and shops
- Landlord answered all my phone calls
- Good cost for size of rooms

Cons:
- Landlord was out-of-state most of the time
- "Apartment manager" (my roommate) had an agreement with the landlord where she worked as a sort of "mini landlord" and handled issues with the apartment, bills, etc. (controlling and making decisions without the input of the other tenants)
- Dishwasher was never connected despite being there my whole 12 months there
- Apartment has a history of pest infestations

Advice to owner:
Get rid of the "apartment manager" who has a history of making the other tenants' lives a living hell and get new people in the apartment. It's not responsible to shirk your duties and assign them to a resident instead.
