heat/water/plumbing issues are constant and management is non-responsive/doesn't
Former Tenant
Pros:
good neighborhood and location in park slope
Cons:
water/heat/plumbing constantly is broken - they do not heat this sufficiently, it's freezing
Advice to owner:
heat the place properly please

Only if you have to
Former Tenant
Pros:
ARYA management is usually responsive when an issue is reported
My unit has been remodeled
Units come with washer/dryer
No pests (at least in my unit)
The neighborhood is great, close to subways
Cons:
-TWICE a lurker gained access to the hallway and was either masturbating in front of apartment doors, or trying to gain access to units. Management was informed both times and did nothing to improve security.
-There is a faulty sewer system, and the entire building often smells of sewage waste
-Garbage bins are shared w/ restaurant
-EXTREMELY loud! You can hear everything on the street
-Units are very tiny and very expensive
Advice to owner:
-Improve security
-Improve plumbing
-Decrease rent to match value of property and neighborhood averages. For example, 1 bdr are going for $1900 - $2100, you're offering small studios at $2300.
