Landlord lives in building and it is weird
Pros
Great location and great value. The apartment itself is huge and beautiful, with some historical details (fireplaces, and woodwork). The appliances were also brand new when we moved in.
Cons
The landlord is a elderly man who lives in the building and he is very set in his ways. He would not let us bring bicycles into the building, he would get very upset if our visitors brought bicycles. He was kind of rude and difficult to deal with, and there was no reasoning with him. The building also had mice.
Advice to the owners
Your daughter was a lot easier to communicate with, perhaps she should be the main point of contact for the building.
