It’s not bad but could be less expensive
Pros
Great location, somewhat quiet, has in unit washer and dryer. No fees for pets.
Cons
Pricier than other locations similar. Cockroaches, but this is kind of a standard nyc experience. Heat doesn’t always work and can’t be controlled (old school radiators). Dishwasher is old and doesn’t work. the stove is old but works fine, some of the burners are slightly busted. Oven is a gas oven, which I can see some people being uncomfortable with. Oven also doesn’t always stay consistently on when cooking, but this doesn’t happen often.
Advice to the owners
Lower the rent and/or replace some of the amenities with newer models. if you are charging that much in rent, things in the apartment should work as expected, or be replaced with more modern appliances.
