Could be worse

Pros:
The hallways are relatively clean (no pests, peeling paint, litter) but there have been Xmas tree needles on the stairs since early January. Quiet, clean neighborhood. Quiet neighbors that keep to themselves. Great location.
Cons:
IT IS FREEZING. They use radiators that are very picky—more often than not, fiddling with the settings lead to the apt becoming a fridge or a sauna, depending on the day. Being an old building, the stairs are (understandably) very creaky—I don’t mind but my partner is a light sleeper and it would constantly wake him up.
