Pretty good, Not complaining.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Its a very nice location. Right next to a subway station, two parks, a nice main street full of restaurants with an italian place (table 87) next door. Its very pet friendly, with multiple tenants owning pets. The landlord is pretty friendly, and theres a laundry machine that was installed recently.
Cons:
The floors and walls are very thin, so you can easily hear what's going on upstairs, in your house and downstairs. The subway overpass is very noisy, and we have frequent mouse problems. Landlord hasn't replaced our 17 year old oven, In summer, the gowanus canal tends to bake and stinks to high heaven, though it is being cleaned out. Also, Table 87 has outdoor karaoke night on Wednesdays. Finally, I would suggest not going under the overpass after 9 pm.
