Wonderful home, Very sweet family landlord and neighbors

Pros:
Building is small, only 3 units, so I knew all my neighbors, including the building next door - all lovely people. Landlord’s family lives right downstairs. Brought me dinner one time for no reason, so sweet. And always very understanding and reasonable with payments and rent cost, never raised the rent on me for 3 years even though it’s not rent controlled. Let me live month to month during COVID. Only left because I was unemployed and had to leave NYC. Loved living here
Cons:
The bedrooms facing 15th st get a bit of noise in the morning from traffic headed to the highway - so not necessarily ideal if you wake up late during the week or are a light sleeper. Landlords are very sweet and generous, but sometimes slow to fix things. But they always got it done eventually, and felt like a decent trade for the cheap rent that they never raised.
Advice to owner:
Should replace the windows with something nicer especially in the street-facing bedrooms - the draft gets really bad because the window design is cheap and it’s already an old building.
