Terrible landlord, gross building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Wonderful location. Nice and quiet, in a beautiful part of the city. Close to the park. The apartments have some original charm and pretty views.
Cons:
Landlord is basically a slumlord. Doesn’t respond, would rather turn the apartment over than retain tenants. Asks for double deposit then doesn’t give it back after tenants move out. The super is nice but is an actual drunk. Lots of mice and giant cockroaches. Many issues with heat and the boiler is always breaking. One time it nearly killed us via carbon monoxide poisoning due to the super trying to work on it. The building is cleaned maybe once every 18 months.
Advice to owner:
Step up and take care of your properties.
