Just ok apartment

Pros:
- Nice neighbors (Left packages out and didn't have any issues)
Cons:
- Washer and dryer are in a different building outside (it's private to the apartment complex), and you have to walk down these metal stairs to get there. In the winter, it completely iced over and made it really difficult to go there
- There were cockroach issues, but management was decent about hiring someone to spray apartments often.
- I had an apartment facing the outside street (8th ave) and it was just really dark in the apartment constantly. The window facing the courtyard basically gets no sunlight
- Our security deposit wasn't fully returned ($300 taken) because it had to be "repainted and detailed clean". It was just really odd considering when we first rented the apartment, the floors were really dirty...

Cons:
Building management , mold issues, neighbors in the building and building next door, lack drawers and closet .
Advice to owner:
You should take better care of your tenants whether they’re new or old.
