Nice apartment, super/maintenance unresponsive
Former Tenant
Pros:
Beautiful area, amazing roof, lots of space and natural light, lots of kitchen space and big fridge. Nice layout!
Cons:
1. the connectivity in the building is not great. two / three rommies work from home and it goes out almost everyday, when we watch tv etc. it’s not just us, it’s the whole building, we’ve asked other tenants. we even asked optimum to come check the wifi but they charge an $80 fee if it’s the building not the wifi itself. 2. it gets pretty hot up here in the winter. you can’t control the heat, it’s controlled by the building. the building barely ever turns it off from sept - may. 3. there’s an ant problem in the kitchen whenever it gets warm. we’ve also found multiple cockroaches/ water bugs in various locations but never bed bugs. 4. In the winter, there’s an annoying tapping noise in two of the rooms because the pipes freeze. It makes it hard to sleep and i had to buy headphones. I asked the building to bleed the pipes but they didn’t.
Advice to owner:
bleed the pipes and fix connectivity pls!

Solid but unresponsive
Former Tenant
Pros:
Lovely area of Brooklyn Near prospect park
Cons:
Unresponsive landlord for some minor issues. Nothing major has come up yet, so I can’t fairly judge those.
Advice to owner:
Communicate with your tenants and resolve the issues they raise.
