Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant reviews highlight the building's mixed aspects. Positive feedback includes the prime location, good heat, and excellent water pressure. However, concerns are raised about poor landlord communication and responsiveness, with instances of rent increase violations and maintenance issues. Some tenants appreciate the neighborhood and outside space but suggest improvements in landlord communication and maintenance responsiveness. The building's overall desirability is impacted by landlord issues and inconsistencies in service quality.

Small local landlord who never answers calls or texts
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location, good heat, good light on the south side.
Cons:
Landlord is absent and poor at communicating, raised rent over the legal 5% amount without enough notice, claiming this law does not apply to the building (it does).
Advice to owner:
Adhere to 5% rent increase laws and establish an official line of maintenance communication rather than have your tenants bother your hardware store employees

Excellent location and great price
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good outside space. Cheap rent. Good neighborhood.
Cons:
There was construction going on next door in the building next to this place but it’s done now.
Advice to owner:
Great Place! Would recommend lowering the heat a bit cause it gets super hot.
